Another Big Player Will Support OpenID
20. February 2007 – 21:02 byWill there be one single day from now on there won’t be any major news regarding OpenID? Actually I doubt it. According to Vecosys Digg has announced its support for OpenID at the Future of Webapps conference in London today.
Microsoft, AOL, workarounds for Yahoo, and now Digg. Within a few weeks - well even days - OpenID has seen a phenomenal boost; even the most enthusiastic advocates of it probably hadn’t dreamt about this at the beginning of the new year. Those companies supporting it now are key players in the internet world and I am sure other bigcos will follow them. OpenID is getting bigger each day. Good to see. ![]()
