hCards in Google Maps
2. August 2007 – 22:53 byTalking about microformats: On Tuesday Google has announced support for hCards to Google Maps results. Below you see a screenshot of a search result (hey, it’s my favourite bar in Frankfurt, Bar Oppenheimer): both addresses on the left and on the map are marked up as hCards. Pretty cool and very encouraging seeing a big company like Google supporting microformats.
