Introduction to OpenID on Zeit Online

22. October 2007 – 19:57 by Carsten Pötter

German weekly Die Zeit has published a small introduction to OpenID on its website last week.

The introduction is demonstrating the login process to a relying party. Not much talk about tech stuff but information (including screenshots) that is relevant to users who are new to OpenID.
By the way, it’s cool to see that the author is using local services for demonstration: Xlogon is the identity provider and Wevent the relying party. It is mentioned that 20% of Wevent’s users log in with an OpenID. Pretty good ratio, I think.
