Wasting Time

Yesterday I have thought it was a good idea to give CardSpace another try. Since all my attempts to run .NET Framework 3 and CardSpace have failed so far, I thought it was a good idea to contact Microsoft directly by email. Well, response has been quick by Microsoft’s Consumer Techical Support, though the solution offered looked rather familiar and hey, it didn’t work, of course.

Now I have spent more than two hours again to run things along the lines of the instructions (just to make sure I didn’t miss an important step when I first discovered that link by a simple search on Google) and have decided that CardSpace is not worth my time and won’t run on this machine ever. I am pretty sure that it is my own fault, though, because from my own experience in help desk work the problem of most computer mishap is usually sitting right in front of the monitor.

Anyway, I give up and the next thing I’ll do is switching to a Mac.
