The OpenID Book: Get It

20. November 2007 – 22:23 by Carsten Pötter

While there are countless resources - blogs, articles, presentations - on OpenID on the web by now, a book was still missing; at least I thought. Much to my surprise there is one, though. Rafeeq UR Rehman has published the OpenID Book.

The book is 224 pages and covers quite a lot of topics: basics, different methods of authentication, OpenID specifications, running an OpenID server, and much more. I haven’t read it all yet but it is recommended if you want to know more than just the basics about OpenID. Oh, it’s free, so there is no excuse not to download and read it.
